Implementation and Configuration

Bumicom takes care of the implementation and configuration of the recording, quality monitoring and interaction analytics solutions at your organization. In preparation for the implementation, an inventory is made to prepare and plan the implementation in detail. In consultation with your organization, the correct configuration is worked out so that after implementation you have a communication system that is fully customized and meets all expectations.

Implementation checklist

The implementation and configuration of your Bumicom communication solution is managed by the project team involved with your project. A checklist with the necessary data is provided by the project management team. The Bumicom engineers take care of the installation of the software and hardware "on premise" or activation in a (private) Cloud environment.

Installation of your Bumicom solution

Depending on the solution to be implemented, the Bumicom engineers will come to your location for the implementation or the implementation will be done remotely. When installing hardware components, the engineers arrive on location. When installing software only solutions, the installation is usually done remotely via a secure remote connection.

Configuration of your Bumicom solution

After the installation work, the engineer carries out the correct configuration in the communication system. Authorizations in the software are carried out with the customer upon delivery or adjusted by the customer himself on the basis of the authorization structure present in the software.

After completing the configuration, the engineer prepares a technical configuration document. The configuration document contains all configuration data and settings that are necessary to perform any support. Finally, the Bumicom engineer gives the administrators of the implemented and configured communication solution an instruction on the management of the hardware and software components.

Documentation

It is possible that Bumicom will provide your organization with technical documentation after implementing and configuring the communication solution. The technical documentation usually consists of:

  • Technical drawings
  • Schematics
  • Maintenance instructions
  • Manage manuals
  • User manuals
  • Quick reference sheets
  • Software backup

Upon completion of the work related to the implementation and configuration of your communication solution, the project manager takes care of the validation with the client and the delivery. Any remaining points are included in the Site Accetence Test (SAT).
